Internal recruitment is open to all military personnel who no longer have “candidate” status at the time they begin training .

At the start of the Q-course, basic military skills must be mastered; including light infantry tactics, first aid, TCCC, shooting, Personnel Recovery, Search Awareness, … Tests are administered at the beginning of the course and the candidate must achieve a minimum level of 70% and demonstrate the ability to apply these TTPs in the field. This applies to all candidates, from all components and all ranks.
