The Special Operations Resuscitation Team (SORT) is a specialized team that provides advanced medical support in tactical special operations situations, on land, at sea and in the air. This team consists of an emergency physician, an emergency nurse and a Special Operations Medical Technician (SOMT). Each has their own expertise that they bring to the field.
